Welcome! I am Courtney Graham and I believe that it is important to find a counselor you trust when looking for help to improve your life. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety or addiction- you want to find someone with the knowledge, skills and experience to help you.

I am a clinical social worker who specializes in depression, anxiety, and addiction.  I have over 15 years experience working in the field of mental health and am a proud graduate of New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. I provide individual and group therapy using a variety of modalities. I have a history of working in an array of treatment settings which include inpatient psychiatry, schools and outpatient clinics.

I also completed specialized training in Heart Centered Clinical Hypnotherapy. My education at Seattle’s Wellness Institute has shaped my style as a provider in allowing for people to grow and change using positive, encouraging and supportive techniques. Hypnotherapy is an incredible form of therapy that helps people get to the root cause of issues faster than standard talk therapy.

I see the importance in helping people reach their goals using a variety of skills. I have an extensive history in working with substance use disorders, personality disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, gender identity, and adjustment disorders. Using a combination of mindfulness, positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution- focused therapy and motivational interviewing allows for each person’s treatment to be unique and tailored to their personal needs. My approach is a supportive one through the journey of therapy.

One of my greatest joys is serving the community of Ridgewood and Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. For 3 years now I have had the honor to be recognized by families as a favorite counselor for teens! I helped put Ridgewood and Ho-Ho-Kus on the map!

I truly love working with my teen clients and this year I have been recognized as a 2018, 2019 and 2021 Top Kids Doc in New Jersey by New Jersey Family Magazine!
